FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Ride Cave free?

Ride Cave has a generous free tier: hundreds of workouts, rowing, running, group rides, live racing, the workout builder, virtual tracks and routes, skills, gear tracking, integrations, and more. Cave Crew ($6.99/mo, a $59 one-year Season Pass, or $199 once for lifetime) supports development and adds Auto Train adaptive plans, Atlas AI coaching, the Data Lab, quests, custom boards, and private Discord access.

What trainers, rowers, treadmills and shifters does Ride Cave support?

FTMS smart trainers including Wahoo KICKR, Tacx/Garmin Flux & Neo, Saris H-series, Zwift Hub, Elite Direto/Suito (newer), and other FTMS-capable trainers. For rowing, the Concept2 PM5 and other Bluetooth FTMS rowers connect directly, and a Concept2 SkiErg plays every rowing workout too. For running, standard Bluetooth smart treadmills connect directly, and a Stryd, Zwift RunPod, Polar Stride or Garmin HRM-Pro footpod gives you pace on any treadmill. For virtual shifting, Zwift Ride, Zwift Play, Zwift Click and CYCPLUS BC2 connect directly, and Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS and more shift through the BikeControl app or an OpenBikeControl device. If yours doesn't work, please contact us so we can investigate.

What browsers and devices can I use?

Works best in the latest Chrome, Edge, Brave or another Chromium browser on desktop or laptop. On phones and tablets, get the native app for iPhone and iPad or Android, which connects to your trainer over native Bluetooth.
