Virtual Tracks
Race the world's velodromes
Every track is a full 3D velodrome. Race a field of bots in seven formats, host a live Group Race with your friends, and ride by real track rules, all from your trainer.
The velodrome
Track racing, in 3D.
A real velodrome, every time.
Every track ride, race and skill happens in the 3D velodrome. Riders lean into the banking, each venue has its own hall or open sky, and the lap board and bell sit at the finish. Your data stays in the corners, or hide it and just ride.

Real track rules.
Riders settle on a line by effort and pass on the open side. The sprinters’ lane belongs to the rider in it, so you go over the top, never underneath. Sit on a wheel for the draft, feel it on the trainer when you climb the banking to go round, and if you get boxed in, you really are stuck until you drop back and go round.

Race formats
Seven ways to race.
Pick a format, set the bots and how strong they are (Easy, Normal or Hard), and see the field before you start. The bots race by the same rules you do: they draft, tire, chase and sprint like riders. Every bunch race starts with two or three neutralised laps and a flying start, the keirin behind the derny, as on a real track.
New
The Madison.
The team event. One rider races while the other rests, then a hand sling swaps them over. Race with a bot partner against bot teams, or host a Group Race and race with a real one.

Scratch
First over the line wins. The purest race on the track.
Points
Points on the sprint laps, and a lap gained is worth more than any sprint.
Elimination
The last rider over the line is out, again and again, until one is left.
Tempo
After the first four laps, a point to the first rider over the line on every lap.
Keirin
A derny winds up the speed, pulls off, and the sprint is on.
Time trial
You against the clock, from a standing start, with no draft.
Live Group Races
Race real people on the track.
Host a race, send the link.
Open a track and tap Host a Group Ride, or choose Track when you start one from Home. Ride it as a Group ride in laps, a Track workout everyone rides at their own FTP, or a Race in any format but the time trial. Add a poster and run it once or every week. A public one can also be shared to Roll.ooo.

One start, one result.
Up to 30 riders. The race room lines everyone up on the grid by watts per kilo (a keirin draws it by lot), each rider starts from their own slot, and the field counts down together. Every place, finish time and gap to the winner is recorded by the race room, so every rider sees the same official standings.

Ride with bots
Bring your own field.
Up to 24 bots on any track.
Turn on Ride with bots for a free ride or a track workout and pick how many, their pace and the mix. They line up with you on the start line and ride the track rules like anyone: pacelines on their zone’s line, passing over the top, never through you. Riding with bots rides solo, so other riders on the track won’t see you.

Talk on the track.
Quick chats, waves and cowbells reach the other riders on the track, in free rides, Group Rides and Group Races, with the same rules as eRoutes. The bots chat with you too.

How it works
From the track list to the start line.
Pick a track
Open a velodrome and press Next. Choose a Free ride in laps, a Track workout, or a Race. Free rides and workouts can bring up to 24 bots of your own.
Set the race
Pick the format, the bots and their strength: Easy, Normal or Hard. You see who you are racing and where you start.
Pedal to start
Wait at the boards with the field behind you. Your first pedal stroke starts the countdown.
After the line
Results that stay with you.
Standings, times and badges.
Your ride summary opens on the race: places, finish times with the gap to the winner, and points where the format scores them. Every race earns XP and a badge in your ride list, like Race, Elimination, 3rd of 12.

Practice skills on the boards.
Skills ride in the velodrome too: Max Power, Watt Ramp, Spin Cycle, Metronome, the standing starts and the 3 km pursuit. The lap board shows your goal for each phase, and a new best gets its own moment.

On every track
More than the race.
Live riders on every track
Every velodrome is a live room: start a free ride or a track workout and you ride with anyone else on that track. The Tracks page shows who is riding where. Prefer the track to yourself? Turn on Ride solo.
Tracks on the map
The velodromes sit on the eRoutes map, with a live dot when someone is riding.
Records & leaderboards
Track your fastest lap, flying 200m, and 500m times. Compare against your personal bests and global records, with automatic Strava uploads that include track info.
Real physics, exact timing
Surface and altitude affect your speed, with millisecond timing and detailed splits for every lap and segment.
Structured track workouts
Built-in interval programs designed for velodrome training: Mix, Endurance, and Sprint, sized from your FTP and weight so they last the time you pick.
A race you can hear
The race radio calls the race in the 3D world, the bots talk, a handbell rings the last lap, and a flare lights when a rider goes hard.
New: Track Builder
Or build your own.
Design a velodrome, then race on it.
Shape the lap and the banking, pick the deck and the venue, set it anywhere in the world, and publish it to Community Tracks for every rider. The best ones become Ride Cave tracks.
- Free to design for everyone; Cave Crew saves and publishes from Level 4
