Stealth Updates for Strava
A Cave Crew perk: push your rides to Strava with a blank description. Your fitness numbers and the Ride Cave mention are stripped out, so only your ride shows. Flip it on under Settings, Preferences, and your activity titles stay exactly as they were.

Custom Widgets Built for Every Screen
Workout views packed with your own metric widgets now lay out in a clean, space-filling grid that adapts to the screen: readable on your phone, filling the panel on desktop, with no more overlapping numbers or cut-off labels. Two-panel views can stack top-to-bottom as well as side-by-side, and the view picker and builder previews now match what you actually ride. Current breath rate also reads live from any heart-rate strap that sends RR intervals, like the Garmin HRM-Pro Plus, not just a dedicated breathing sensor.

Coaching
Invite a coach, or coach riders yourself. Coaches see an athlete’s fitness, adherence, plans and key training numbers, can build and edit plans, update training numbers like FTP, run Data Lab reports, and leave notes. Everything your coach does appears on your Coach Log on the home dashboard, where you can save any note straight into your own Training Notes.

Rate How Hard It Felt (RPE)
After any ride, rate how hard the whole session felt from 1 to 10 on the ride summary. Your ratings build a Perceived Effort view in the Data Lab and a Feel toggle on the Training Status card, showing your internal load and when riding feels harder than the power says. If you train with a coach, they see your ratings on your rides.

Auto Train Stops Repeating Itself
Accepting or dismissing an Auto Train insight now settles it for good. Previously, after a stretch of missed rides, the same "plan rebuilt from your current fitness" suggestion could come back every day until the misses aged out of the review window, even after you had accepted it. An insight now only returns when something genuinely new happens - a new missed session or new riding outside your plan.

Immersive Workouts
Attach a structured workout to a 3D eRoute and ride it inside the world. Your targets are painted on the road ahead, colored by zone, with Cave Coins to chase above target, gates that shatter between intervals, and a heads-up display on your rider showing target versus current. It works with any workout in your library, and like the Infinite World it is free on our official routes and on every route with Cave Crew.

Rolling Averages and 7-Zone Heart Rate for Widgets
Build your own workout data with two new field families. Rolling averages report your power, heart rate, or cadence over a trailing window (3 seconds up to 10 minutes), so you can pace by a steady number on a long ride without touching the lap button. And a full 7-zone LTHR heart-rate model joins the 5-zone one, splitting the effort above threshold into three so time right around threshold reads separately from all-out work. Comes with a matching 7-zone time chart for your views and a zone table in athlete settings.

Ride With Real Riders in the Infinite World
The Infinite World is now a shared road: riders on the same eRoute appear live in the 3D world beside you. Sit on a wheel and the draft genuinely makes you faster, pelotons form up around matched riders, and nameplates and edge pills always show who is up or down the road. It is on by default, so the riders you follow just show up; switch it off any time under Enable real-time riding with others.
Sep 2026
Waves, Cowbells, and Chat on the Road
Say something as you ride: quick preset messages and a wave or thumbs-up float above your rider in the world, and you can ring a cowbell for a specific rider by tapping them. Comms are optional, and riders under 18 see and send only the curated presets, never free-text chat. Real-time riding requires a birthdate so those rules can apply.

Clubs & Events
Community boards are now Clubs: join a club, follow its calendar of events and group rides, add events to your own calendar, and attach the workout or route an event will ride. Old boards and groups links redirect automatically.

Draw a Route Anywhere, Right on the Map
Ride Anywhere now lives on the eRoutes map: tap the pencil, drop a few points anywhere on Earth, and generate a rideable route on real roads with real elevation. A new map search flies you to any place or any route first.
Aug 2026
The eRoutes World Map
eRoutes now opens on a world map: every route on the platform pinned where it really starts, in Ride Cave, community, and your-routes colors. Zoom in, tap a pin, and ride it. Prefer the classic cards? Flip the Map/List toggle and it sticks.

Virtual Gears That Behave Like Real Gears
Virtual shifting now works the way a real drivetrain does: a harder gear multiplies the resistance of the hill you are on and loads up with speed on the flat, instead of adding a fixed step. Big gears are finally usable on flat roads, easy gears genuinely ease a climb, and the MTB and gravel presets feel like the cassettes they are named after. The Shifting intensity slider now shows the force change per shift.

The Infinite World
Ride eRoutes and Ride Anywhere inside a full-screen living 3D world: real terrain built from your route, day rolling into night, weather that moves through, bridges, your own rider, and Ride Along companions beside you.

Right-Sized Indoor Endurance Rides
Training plans no longer pile a whole week of easy riding into one very long indoor session. Unless your goal is a long-distance event, endurance volume now spreads across more days, so a plan tops out at a sensible trainer ride length instead of a three-hour indoor marathon. Your weekly training load is unchanged.
Aug 2026
One Fitness Number, Everywhere
Your Fitness, Fatigue and Form now read the same on the home card, in Atlas analysis, across Data Lab reports, and in plan simulations - one definition, computed one way. And when you build a plan while your synced rides tell a solid story, you can now choose to start it from your measured fitness instead of your stated level.
Aug 2026
Auto Train’s Biggest Update Yet
One big update across the whole feature. Plan numbers are now measured from the intervals you actually ride, heart-rate-only rides are scored with a bar built for them, and every suggested change names its reason and shows you the weeks it touches before you apply anything. The Plan Check-in offers the two levers that really reshape a plan, your weekly hours and training intensity; editing a started plan rebuilds only the weeks ahead with your history intact; and after a big setback the repair now reaches the week you are in instead of waiting for Monday. Existing plans get a one-time refresh of their numbers; your sessions and riding time are unchanged.

Send Any Workout to Intervals.icu
Push a single workout straight to your Intervals.icu calendar from its menu, the same as Garmin and Wahoo. Power, heart-rate, cadence and free-ride targets all carry over, and plans you sync to Intervals keep them too. Editing a ramp block is easier as well, with fine one-watt corner steppers you can hold to repeat and a mobile tray you can slide down to preview the workout while you tune it.
Aug 2026
Intervals.icu Workouts Now Ride At Your FTP
Workouts imported from Intervals.icu are now scaled to the FTP you have set here, instead of the watts Intervals had already worked out from your outdoor FTP. If you keep a separate indoor FTP, your sessions were running hard by exactly that difference, and you no longer need to mark anything as indoor first. Heart-rate and power-zone targets convert correctly too.
Aug 2026
A Separate Outdoor FTP
Set an outdoor FTP in Athlete settings and any workout you send to a Garmin or Wahoo is built from that number instead of your trainer FTP. Leave it blank and nothing changes.
Aug 2026
Ride Cave for Android
The Android app is live on Google Play. Connect your trainer over native Bluetooth and ride from your phone or tablet, the same as on iPhone and iPad. Grab it from the Play Store, or from Downloads in Settings.

Adjust Power From Your Zwift Controller
Zwift Ride, Zwift Play and Zwift Click 2 can now change power as well as shift. One rule on every controller: vertical shifts, horizontal adjusts. Up and Down shift, Left and Right adjust target power in a workout or trainer difficulty on a route, and Y, B, Z and A do the same on the right-hand pad. Zwift Click 2 is now supported, and a controller that nods off mid-ride reconnects itself when you press a button.

Sharper Auto Train Plans
Every session now rides in the zone its name promises, with sweet spot at 91% of FTP and endurance at 65%. Your discipline genuinely shapes the week too, so a time trial block no longer looks like a criterium one. Training load figures are recalibrated too, measured from the intervals you actually ride, so they are more accurate and most plans read a little lower than before.
Jul 2026
Choose Your Training Intensity
A new Advanced option when you build a plan. Normal keeps two quality sessions a week and fills the rest with easy riding; Maximized spends some of that easy volume on a third quality session, for more load inside the same safety limits.
Jul 2026
Zwift Play and Zwift Ride Support
Pair Zwift Play or Zwift Ride controllers straight from the device tray and shift, steer, and brake without leaving the saddle. Works in the browser, no bridge app needed.
Jul 2026
Ride Cave for Linux
The desktop app now runs on Linux, as an AppImage for most distros or a .deb for Ubuntu and Debian, with ANT+ USB support via a one-time udev rule. Download it right alongside the Mac and Windows builds.
Jul 2026
eRoute Map Unification
The eRoute map now combines the fly-through, overhead map, and Street View into one view you switch between, running on a single map for a lighter load. Includes a fix for smoother virtual shifting on lower-powered devices.
Jul 2026
Lifetime Pass
Pay once and keep Cave Crew for as long as Ride Cave runs, with no subscription. Prefer a year at a time? Grab the one-time Season Pass. Same features, your choice of commitment.

Smarter Plans for Everyone

Jul 2026
Atlas Plans, Exactly As Designed
Atlas now authors every interval of its custom plans, so what you ride matches what it described, and the plan stays fully editable. Want one that adapts automatically instead? Build it with Auto Train.
