Attach any structured workout to a 3D eRoute and ride it inside the world: your targets painted on the road, Cave Coins to chase above target, gates between intervals, and a heads-up display on your rider.
A structured workout has always asked you to look down. Hold 250 watts, watch the little bar, count the seconds until the interval ends. You are training in a beautiful 3D world, and then a flat graph pulls your eyes right back to the numbers.
Today we are announcing Immersive Workouts: your structured workout, brought to life inside the Infinite World. Attach any workout to a 3D eRoute and your training is there on the road with you, so you can ride it instead of watching it.
Your Targets, On the Road
Every interval is painted onto the road in front of you as a block, colored by its power zone and standing a little taller for a harder effort. You can read the road ahead the way you read terrain: a long sweet-spot block stretching out, a VO2 effort flaring hot and high, a recovery stretch cooling off after it. You see the next surge coming and settle into it before it arrives, instead of being caught out by a number.
Chase the Coins
Push above your target and Cave Coins float into reach above the road for bonus XP. You decide how hard they are to earn: easy sits them just over target, hard makes you really dig. It turns holding an interval into something you play, not just something you endure.
A Heads-Up Display That Rides With You
Your target and your current effort sit on a compact heads-up display that rides right on your rider, so your eyes never have to leave the road. It follows the workout: watts for a power target, heart rate or cadence when the interval calls for it, and it shows the range when your workout uses one. The road paint brightens the moment you are on target, so you can hold the effort by feel.
Gates, Streaks, and Perfect Intervals
A gradient gate marks every handover between intervals and shatters as you ride through it, so you always feel the block change without looking down. Hold your target and the road glows brighter around you in a growing streak. Nail a whole interval and it lets you know.
Every Workout You Own
There is nothing to rebuild. Immersive Workouts works with any structured workout in your library, on any 3D eRoute you choose. Attach a workout, start the ride, and your trainer follows every target the way it always has. You just get to look up while you do it.
Cave Crew
Immersive Workouts comes with the Infinite World, so it rides free on our official Ride Cave routes and on every route for Cave Crew. You can turn it on or off any time in Settings. We think it is the most fun you can have holding a hard interval indoors. We hope you agree.
