Quests: Curated Collections with Trophies and XP

Ride Cave now has Quests — curated collections of activities that you complete to earn trophies and XP. Each quest bundles together a mix of workouts, routes, skills, and track races into a themed package with a clear objective. Finish every activity in a quest and you earn a unique trophy and an XP reward.

How They Work

Open the Quests tab from the sidebar to browse available quests. Each quest card shows its name, difficulty rating, XP reward, and a progress bar tracking how many activities you've completed. Tap a quest to see the full list of activities inside it — workouts, routes, skills, or track races — along with descriptions and completion status for each one.

Progress is tracked automatically. When you complete a workout, route, or skill anywhere in Ride Cave, the system checks every published quest to see if that activity matches. If it does, your progress updates immediately. You don't need to start activities from the quest screen for them to count — the only exception is track races, which must be launched from inside the quest to ensure the correct race configuration.

Trophies

Every quest has a procedurally generated trophy icon. The trophy shape reflects the quest's difficulty: circles for Easy, squares for Moderate, pentagons for Challenging, shields for Hard, and diamonds for Extreme. The color is based on the types of activities inside — blue for workouts, green for routes, yellow for skills, purple for tracks, and blended tones for mixed collections. Completed trophies appear in the Trophy Case on your profile.

Difficulty and XP

Each quest has a difficulty rating from 1 to 5 and an XP reward scaled to match. Difficulty is calculated from the number and type of activities, route distances and elevation, and workout intensity. Higher difficulty means a bigger XP payout. You can filter quests by difficulty or activity type, and sort by progress to find quests you're close to finishing.

Free and Cave Crew Quests

Many quests are available to all users for free. Select quests are exclusive to Cave Crew members, offering additional trophies and XP rewards as a perk of supporting Ride Cave.
